Q: What kind of papers does GJOCR publish?

The GIHSM Journal of Contemporary Research (GJOCR) publishes research papers across a broad multidisciplinary scope, including Management, Commerce, Social Sciences, Arts, Literature, Education, Computer Science, Technology, History, and Psychology. The journal aims to disseminate original research, innovative methodologies, and practical applications that foster interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers, academicians, and practitioners. GJOCR welcomes original research articles, review papers, case studies, technical reports, and short communications that contribute to the advancement of knowledge across these fields. The review process is typically completed within 4–6 weeks, depending on the number of submissions under review.

Q: How will I know if my manuscript is accepted or not?

Once your manuscript has been reviewed, the editorial office will notify you via email regarding the decision — whether it has been accepted, accepted with modifications, or rejected.

Q: What is the standard or quality of papers published in GJOCR?

GJOCR maintains a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the quality and originality of its publications. Papers that make a meaningful contribution to knowledge — through new ideas, concepts, methodologies, or findings — are considered for publication following double-blind peer review.

Q: How can I submit a manuscript or research paper to GJOCR?

Authors can submit their manuscripts through the online submission system available on the GJOCR website or via the "Make a Submission" link on the journal's homepage.

Q: Is there a publication fee or Article Processing Charge (APC)?  

GJOCR's fee structure, if any, is available on the journal's Author Fees page. Authors are encouraged to check this page before submission to understand any applicable charges. 

Q: What file formats are accepted for submission?

Manuscripts may be submitted as a single document in Word (.doc/.docx), RTF, or PDF format. Tables and figures may be included within the text or placed at the end of the manuscript.

Q: Can I submit my manuscript in Hindi?

Yes. GJOCR accepts submissions in both English and Hindi, in keeping with its multidisciplinary and inclusive scope.

Q: How many reviewers evaluate my manuscript?

Manuscripts are typically evaluated by two independent reviewers through a double-blind peer review process, in addition to initial editorial screening.

Q: What if I disagree with a reviewer's comments?

Authors may respond to reviewer feedback in their cover letter at the time of revision, providing clear justification for any suggested changes that were not incorporated. The editor will consider this justification alongside reviewer recommendations when making the final decision.

Q: Can I withdraw my manuscript after submission?

Yes. Authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript at any stage before final acceptance by contacting the editorial office directly at editor@gjocr.in, stating the manuscript ID and reason for withdrawal. Withdrawal after acceptance or publication is discouraged and will be handled per the journal's ethics and retraction procedures.

Q: Does GJOCR assign a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) to published articles?

A DOI is a unique alphanumeric string assigned to digital content such as journal articles, ensuring a permanent and stable link to the published material and enabling it to be easily located, cited, and accessed through indexing services like CrossRef
